Appreciate what you see
I was going for a little walk to rest my eyes after adding a new article about student loan consolidation and the flowers in the neighbors’ gardens were beautiful.
In fact, I had my little digital camera with me and I took some photos of the flowers. I was enjoying the heat of the California spring sunshine and thanking the Spirit for the beauty around me. I was joyfully listening to harmonic singing of the birds…
As I continued walking I came to an open garage with a grandfather and granddaughter next to a circa 1957 Chevrolet two door station wagon. It looked similar to the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air my parents owned.
So I went and said hi and told the gentleman how much I was appreciating his car. He told me that he had it for thirty years and had started restoring it in the last seven years and that it was still a work in progress.
The exterior paint and chrome looked great but the inside was still being restored. I had a great time talking to the gentleman and it was obvious he was appreciating my obvious appreciation of his handy work.
After a while I wished them well and continued on my walk. I knew I had to write this post about how when you appreciate things you life increases in value (your life appreciates).
I’m writing an iphone/ipad self improvement app. I need you help:
