It gets easier every day

When you repeat actions you form habits – at first it’s hard and then it becomes easier.
I’ll admit it. I’m a pack rat. I keep things way too long.
Recently I started throwing things away. The first times it was hell. Each time I throw more things away and it becomes easier.
That’s the way habits form. The more often you do something the more often you do it. The important thing is that it is dfficult to change habits and the best way to do that is to get a better habit.
So rather than trying to stop a bad habit, repeat a good action. That’s one of the principles of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) to increase your choices. We believe that when we increase people’s choices, they will select better things.
So if you want to stop smoking I’ll give you better habits than that without getting rid of your noxious habit and you’ll sekect the better habits. I always recomend people who want to reduce their weight to eat more fruits and vegetables, plain yogurt, and planty of water. Once they do that they will automaticaly reduce meats, sodas, fatty and/or sugary foods.
