With modern technology music is ubiquitous. It is impossible to see ten people anywhere (walking, shopping, driving, in the gym) without seeing five of them listening on an mp3 player or something similar.
Music affects our mood and energy. Some type of music increases our psychic energy (as measured by psychokinesis) and others deplete it.
Psychokinesis is a method of measuring psychic energy by testing the muscles. When psychic energy is up the muscle is strong. But when we are not at integrity, near food that is bad for us, watch the news on TV, listen to many types of non-classical music our muscles become weak. A great test is to say a positive affirmation like, “I’m worthy,” and the muscles are strong. But saying the opposite, “I’m not worthy,” makes our muscles weak.
Classical music can calm the mind, heal the body, increase energy and make the spirit soar. On the other hand many types of popular music (heavy metal and rap come to mind immediately) deplete psychic energy.
Chose whatever type you enjoy. Slow “Largo” movements of Baroque music is supposed to help with learning and memory. Other music like that of Mozart are supposed to increase intelligence and creativity. The verdict is still not in on the validity of these researches. The fact is that good classical music does relax one and lowers one’s stress level.
When we reduce our stress level and increase our energy we show ourselves that we matter and hence our self esteem improves.
