Fight or Flight...Why Can't I Do Both? - A podcast

Usually, when stressed, we go into a fight or flight mode because it usually makes sense to do one or the other. However, when applied to my recovery, I decided to do both. Today, in this episode, I share why I felt it was necessary.

I’ve decided to share this particular episode because I want all of our clients, those whom we currently serve and the potential clients yet to come, that we ALL experience loss, trauma. pain, fear, confusion, and uncertainty. However, it is our response to the situation that will determine if we SUFFER FROM or LIVE THROUGH the experience. As a therapist, I am comfortable sharing this piece of myself because every adversity I’ve weathered has shaped me into the daughter, sister, niece, auntie, friend, co- worker, and clinician I am today.
