Tanya Bartholomew, Professional Clinical Counselor Intern

Meet Tanya Bartholomew – a compassionate and skilled counselor dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children, adults, and families!

Tanya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and brings a wealth of experience working with children of all ages. From teaching and raising her own children to serving in school administration, Tanya has a unique ability to connect with individuals during moments of challenge. In her current role, she often assists in de-escalating crises and teaching coping skills for students with special needs.

Her counseling experience includes working at McKinley Children’s Center, where she provided group therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention, and at Pacific Clinics’ outpatient facility, where she integrated art therapy into her approach. Now pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at Grand Canyon University, Tanya continues to expand her skills and knowledge.

At Life Focus Center, Tanya will work with clients of all ages to address anxiety, depression, and trauma using evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. For those interested, Tanya also offers faith-based therapy, incorporating healing through God, worship, and scripture.
