Colleen Ohlman, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
Meet Colleen Ohlman, your go-to therapist for kids, teens, and young adults at Life Focus Center!
With a background in education and over 20 years of experience working with children, Colleen brings a warm, empathetic, and affirming approach to her therapy practice. She holds a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, where she began her career teaching young children. Now, as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, she’s dedicated to helping young people and their families navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, eating disorders, self-harm, and more.
Colleen’s firsthand experience as a mom of three teens, coupled with her volunteer work with the National Charity League and Special Olympics of Southern California, gives her unique insight into the struggles young people face today. She’s especially passionate about helping youth and parents reconnect during difficult times, fostering understanding and growth.
Need a fun fact? Colleen once spent the night in Dracula’s castle in Transylvania as part of a reality show! (She even tried out for Survivor—adventure is her middle name.)
When she’s not working, you’ll find Colleen spoiling her two dogs, traveling, or spending quality time with her family.
If your child or teen is struggling, reach out to Colleen today—she’s here to help your family thrive!
