Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a safe space to be your authentic self. We operate in an environment of non-judgment, acceptance and understanding. You and a therapist will work one-on-one to process your anxiety, depression, and fears, to start healing and reach your goals.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy focuses on improving relationships, no matter what stage. We help you and your partner set the goals and we guide you to achieving them together. Honest and open communication with your partner and therapist can reduce relationship distress and increase relationship satisfaction.

Group Therapy

We are all connected. No matter the circumstance, know that you are truly not alone. Group therapy is led by one of Life Focus Centers’ experienced therapists in groups with a maximum of 8. Together the group engages in a process of learning, healing and problem solving, together.

Divorce Mediation

Divorce is certainly stressful. The goal for mediation is twofold: reduce the stress of this difficult time and make an action plan that is agreeable for both parties.

Family Counseling

Family therapy is typically short-term and goal-oriented, focusing on improving family dynamics. It helps enhance communication, develop coping strategies, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships, benefiting all family members, even if not everyone participates directly.

Behavioral health therapy uses a variety of techniques and interventions tailored to meet each individual’s needs. These approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based practices, aim to address emotional, mental, and relational challenges. By combining evidence-based methods with personalized care, therapists help clients build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and achieve meaningful change.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a therapy that helps people recover from trauma and PTSD. It is effective for anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain and other life situations that create distress.  Ongoing research over the years continues to demonstrate successful outcomes.

Clinicians need to undergo rigorous training in order to provide EMDR.  Progressions of training include Level 1 and Level 2, at which time a therapist may provide EMDR. The next level is Certified status followed by Consultant status. EMDR Consultants may supervise therapists that want further training in EMDR.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders, and severe mental illness. Numerous research studies suggest that CBT leads to significant improvement in functioning and quality of life. In many studies, CBT has been demonstrated to be as effective as, or more effective than, other forms of psychological therapy or psychiatric medications.
